JEE Mains books — used Kota sets printed for both papers

Ask any Kota institute for a Mains-only set and you'll get the same answer: it doesn't exist. Motion, Unacademy, and the rest print one combined package for JEE Mains and Advanced. Think of it as a ticket with two stubs — you may only need the Mains side, but the printing covers both, and the Mains material is complete on its own.

So if your target is Mains — an NIT or IIIT seat through JoSAA counselling — a combined set is not overspending. It is the only format these institutes produce. The Advanced-level problems sit in the same bindings; use them or skip them.

Second-hand pricing makes the maths simpler. The Unacademy 2024 Mains + Advanced set — 25 modules, grade A — is listed at ₹1,999 against an original price of about ₹15,000. The 27-module Unacademy 2024 package runs ₹2,699. Every listing is one physical pre-owned copy, and the whole JEE shelf works the same way.

A dropper and a Class 11 starter are buying for different clocks, so we stock both paths.

• Dropper year: the Motion 2024 dropper set (₹2,799, grade A) was compiled for a single revision year — the closest thing to a purpose-built option in this list.
• Class 11 start: a full syllabus run ahead of you. The Unacademy IIT JEE 2024 material is ₹2,758, and the eSaral 12-module set is ₹2,799.
• Latest edition or Hindi medium: Motion's 2025 edition (₹4,499, listed new) and the Hindi-medium 2025 edition (₹4,999) cost more because they are the newest editions on this shelf.
